The Project Lifecycle
PHASE 01: DISCOVERY (Weeks 1-2)
Gemba Assessment
We observe the current state, map the value stream, and gather baseline metrics (cycle time, OEE, defect rates). We identify the primary constraints.
PHASE 02: DESIGN (Weeks 3-4)
Future State Architecture
Collaboratively designing the new workflow, defining standard work, and planning the implementation sprints.
PHASE 03: EXECUTION (Weeks 5-12)
Kaizen Events
Running rapid improvement events (Kaizen Blitz) to physically change layouts, implement 5S, set up Kanban systems, and train staff.
PHASE 04: SUSTAINMENT (Ongoing)
Management System Handover
Implementing visual management boards, leader standard work, and auditing processes to ensure improvements are sustained.
